“for my eyes have seen your salvation”

How can it be that we can see the same scene, the same building, the same words in the Bible and yet one day it takes on a new light? Light is essential for us to see, Jesus is the Light of the World, and yet for so long we can stumble in darkness. I’m drawn to photographs or pictures that capture a moment where the light has caught my attention, moments of revelation.

It seems that the Gospel is like this also, we can hear it, we can have it presented to us in many various forms of media but it takes revelation for us to recognise the salvation that is on offer.
