Blooming hot

Can we too learn to rejoice in the desert or wildernesses times of our lives? For there will be a time when the drought shall end, and we will bloom again.

Blooming Hot “The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus;” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭35:1‬ ‭ESV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬. . In the United Kingdom we are currently going through one of the hottest summers that I can remember. The last time we had a protracted heat wave was the year when I eldest son was born, but this is lasting much longer and everywhere that you look the ground is dry, arid and parched. . . On returning from holiday we found most of the plants had succumbed to the intense heat because There had been no one to nurture and water. . This was not universally true as some of the plants the ones that had deeper root systems were not just surviving but actually thriving their roots being were able to draw nourishment from hidden depths. I marvel at the complexity of plant life, some like rich, moist soil, others thrive in the poorest conditions, others bloom in a day and set their seeds just as quickly. Some desert plant seeds lie dormant for years, waiting for the day when the rain will come. . . Can we too learn to rejoice in the desert or wildernesses times of our lives? For there will be a time when the drought shall end, and we will bloom again. . #souvenirs_de_vie #lifemoments #dailydevotions #followingjesus #memories #wisdom #gospel #bible #goodnews #praise #worship #christianblogger #manofgod #encouragement #photos #photography
