Spirit Level

What makes you smile? My wife and I have shared this thing about a spirit level making us smile, it is one of those that would not be funny to anyone else, but when we have a project that involves the use of this instrument it always causes us to crack a grin.

Spirit Level 7 The path of the righteous is level; you make level the way of the righteous. (‭Isaiah‬ ‭26‬:‭7‬ ESV)‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬. . . What makes you smile? My wife and I have shared this thing about a spirit level making us smile, it is one of those that would not be funny to anyone else, but when we have a project that involves the use of this instrument it always causes us to crack a grin. . . The other day as I was reflecting during my counselling session the counsellor asked how I balanced, my home life, work life and church life. I instantly thought of the spirit level. It shows how far off centre we are and the direction we need to go to get level again. . . God’s Word is the same, in the books of Amos and Isaiah we read of the plumb line and how God was using this to measure the people. If we align ourselves with God’s Word everything else will come into alignment. . . It is when I have times of not reading my Bible I find myself drifting and my life goes off course. . . Time to get out my spiritual spirit level, apply it to my life and let Him make my way level. . . #souvenirs_de_vie #lifemoments #dailydevotions #followingjesus #memories #wisdom #gospel #bible #goodnews #praise #worship #christianblogger #manofgod #encouragement #photos #photography
