Patiently waiting

don’t believe that we should be passive when we are waiting on God, waiting is counterintuitive to the world that we live in, but while we wait, we can praise, we can worship, we can trust and we can get on with living the life that He has given us. However regarding the issue you are waiting on God for do not take things into your own hands

Patiently Waiting “But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.” ‭‭Micah‬ ‭7:7‬ ‭ESV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ . . I’m pretty much a patient person, and I’ve learnt that waiting can bring great benefits. Often when I’m uptight, frustrated or angry I have to resist the urge to act, lash out or even say something that I would regret. One of the great pieces of advice given to me was before sending that reactionary email, sleep on it, reread it the next day, when the heat has gone out of the situation. In the calm of the following day I am much more able to compose a reply that will be more fruitful. . . I don’t believe that we should be passive when we are waiting on God, waiting is counterintuitive to the world that we live in, but while we wait, we can praise, we can worship, we can trust and we can get on with living the life that He has given us. However regarding the issue you are waiting on God for do not take things into your own hands. . . As I’m writing this I’m watching the test match cricket between England and India, and like in most sports timing is essential. Patience is a misunderstood virtue, there can be periods of play where nothing appears to be happening but pressure is actually building. One moment of reckless impetuosity can cause the batsman to lose his wicket. If the batsman just defends he again will soon find himself in trouble. The key is to be proactive, waiting for the bowler to tire before acting. . . God always hears us , let us be proactive while wait upon Him. . . #souvenirs_de_vie #lifemoments #dailydevotions #followingjesus #memories #wisdom #gospel #bible #goodnews #praise #worship #christianblogger #manofgod #photos #photography
