Not one should be lost

Whether a nation, a city, a town or an individual God’s heart is that not one would be lost. Hallelujah.

Not One Should Be Lost "When God saw what they did, how they turned from their evil way, God relented of the disaster that he had said he would do to them, and he did not do it.” ‭‭Jonah‬ ‭3:10‬ ‭ESV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ All our actions are noticed by God, in this mega city of Nineveh, they had heard the word of God through the reluctant prophet Jonah. They believed the message, they knew they had to repent, they knew they had to act or they were doomed. Drastic measures were needed the whole city repented, fasted, clothed themselves in sack cloth and ashes. Even the king humbled himself. God saw, and He relented. Now if we take it forward the Bible tells us “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭ESV‬‬ and “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans‬ ‭6:23‬ ‭ESV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ God uses many ways of attracting our attention and making us realise our sinful state and the direst of consequences, if we do not repent. But He also provides a way for our restoration. Repentance leads to a cry for a Saviour, Jesus responded and went to the cross to pay the price. He died so we can live. However, there is life beyond the grave, death could not hold Him and the same power that resurrected Jesus, lives in those who have accepted His free gift of eternal life. This is available in Christ alone. Whether a nation, a city, a town or an individual God’s heart is that not one would be lost. Hallelujah. #souvenirs_de_vie #lifemoments #dailydevotions #followingjesus #memories #wisdom #gospel #bible #goodnews #praise #worship #photos #photography
