Staying Sharp

I love French bread, the crusty sort with lots of grains and seeds. Wonderful on the day you purchase it, but extremely tough to eat the next day. Trying to get through this exterior with a blunt knife is neigh on impossible you need the right implement and it needs to be sharp

This is also why a carpenter will spend many hours sharpening his saw and chisels, it seems like extra work at the time, but the craftsman knows that not only will it save him many labour intensive hours, it will ensure that he is able to work with precision and accuracy.
