Love is a choice, love is intentional, what will you choose?

Love is a choice, love is intentional. The love of God is steadfast, it is unchanging and it is offered unconditionally. The choice to receive or the choice to reject is ours. This freedom of choice, is a feature of His love for us. Yet when we reject Him he still loves us, He does not give up on us and His offer is always open.

Some seem to revel in the discomfort of others, or want to sow discord because love is absent in their own lives. Love is a choice, love is intentional. The love of God is steadfast, it is unchanging and it is offered unconditionally. The choice to receive or the choice to reject is ours. This freedom of choice, is a feature of His love for us. Yet when we reject Him he still loves us, He does not give up on us and His offer is always open. His steadfast love, look out at humankind and saw its sinful state,
His steadfast love, knew a price had to be paid
His steadfast love, appeased my sin with His blood.
His steadfast love, took His only begotten Son to the cross in my place.
His steadfast love, bore my guilt and my shame
His steadfast love, bore the spit and the nails
His steadfast love, gave up His life, that I might live.
His steadfast love, defeated the grave and
