Dig Deep

“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭21:5‬ ‭ESV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ . The meaning of the word diligent, means sharp pointed, or sharp with teeth, like something used to dig a trench or moat. Whilst on holiday we visited a boat museum, in Brittany, and there was an old dredger. Video footage was shown of the sand being dug out from the floor of the harbour, a necessity to stop the port silting up. . Strategic planning had been put into action, followed by intense labour which allowed the port to continue to flourish. We likewise need to plan and dig deep, if we want see an abundance.
