My lips will shout for joy July 1, 2018July 3, 2018 souvenirs_de_vie View this post on Instagram “My lips will shout for joy, when I sing praises to you; my soul also, which you have redeemed.” Psalms 71:23 ESV http://bible.us/59/psa.71.23.esv Sometimes when we sing praise to God, it escalates and turns into a shout. A shout is something more raucous something that builds and is hard to stifle or contain. Shouting can be quite cathartic, it releases energy and can be an aid to focus and concentration. Shouting can be a public declaration an abandonment of self absorption, not caring what others might think or say, but I am reminded while writing this of standing on top of a hill or cliff, of shouting in total isolation to release all that is within me. Maybe there is something even more profound about our soul shouting, now redemption that really is something worth shouting about. Let the redeemed of the Lord say I am redeemed! #souvenir_de_vie #lifemoments #devotional #redeemed #shoutforjoy A post shared by Paul Adams (@souvenirs_de_vie) on Jul 1, 2018 at 12:08am PDT Share this:TwitterFacebookLike this:Like Loading...
